Governor Hogan Loves Thomas Kennedy Sculpture

June 4, 2018

Governor Larry Hogan recently visited Hagerstown, and took the opportunity to see the Thomas Kennedy sculpture's "maquette." This model of the soon-to-be over ten foot tall public sculpture was visited by Delegate Paul Corderman, Senator Andrew Serefini, Thomas Kennedy Center Board President Monda Sagalkin, World Renowned Sculptor Toby Mendez, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, and Thomas Kennedy Center Executive Director Tom Riford.

Govenor Hogan is making plans to attend the park's groundbreaking ceremonies.

The Govenor recently approved state funding in the capital budget to help with the Thomas Kennedy Memorial Park and Sculpture project.
